felix

Now based in Düsseldorf, Germany, I have been a conference interpreter and translator since 2012. I am also accredited as an interpreter for English (UK; native language), Chinese and German with all Germany courts. Since 2015, I have also been teaching Chinese language and Chinese-German translation at BA and MA level at the University of Bonn, Germany, and Conference Interpreting German-English at MA level at the University of Heidelberg.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Conference Interpreting and Translating from the University of Leeds, recognised by the interpreting services of the European Union and the International Association of Conference Interpreters, AIIC.

To keep abreast of what is happening in the countries where my languages are spoken, I work with high-quality news outlets in my languages on a daily basis and take advanced education courses to constantly refine my skills and further my understanding of my specialisms: international relations & politics, business & trade, industry & engineering and culture & education. As a professional conference interpreter and translator, I am a member of internationally recognised professional associations such as German VKD-BDÜ, ATICOM, and the DVÜD. A social anthropologist raised and educated in Cologne, London, Taipei and Beijing, my personal and educational background has provided me with the excellent language and cultural skills and the expertise I need to meet your requirements.
